1. About PlacementHub

PlacementHub provides technology and software services that may allow:

• Students to create profiles and resumes
• Students to discover and apply for jobs, internships and other opportunities
• Colleges to manage placement activities and student information
• Employers to publish opportunities and manage recruitment processes
• Users to communicate and exchange information through platform features

PlacementHub is a technology platform operated by PlacementHub Solutions. Unless explicitly stated otherwise, PlacementHub is not the employer, educational institution, recruitment agency or hiring authority for opportunities listed by third parties.

2. Eligibility

You must provide accurate information and have the legal capacity required to use the services you access.

Where an account is created or managed through an educational institution, the institution may establish additional eligibility requirements or usage rules.

If you are using PlacementHub on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to act on behalf of that organisation.

3. Account Registration

Certain features require registration.

You agree to:

• Provide accurate and current information
• Keep your account information updated
• Maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials
• Not share your account with unauthorised persons
• Notify us if you suspect unauthorised access
• Accept responsibility for activities conducted through your account

We may suspend or restrict an account where we reasonably believe that the account is being misused, compromised or operated in violation of these Terms.

4. Student and Candidate Profiles

Students are responsible for the accuracy of information contained in their profiles, resumes and applications.

Students should not upload:

• False qualifications
• Misleading employment or academic information
• Information belonging to another person without permission
• Fraudulent documents
• Content that infringes another person's rights

PlacementHub does not independently guarantee the accuracy of every piece of information submitted by users.

5. Employer and Job Listings

Employers are responsible for the accuracy and legality of job, internship and recruitment information they publish.

Employers must not use PlacementHub to:

• Publish fraudulent opportunities
• Mislead candidates
• Request unlawful payments from candidates
• Discriminate unlawfully
• Collect information for purposes unrelated to legitimate recruitment
• Publish content that violates applicable laws
• Misuse candidate information

PlacementHub may review, restrict or remove listings that appear to violate these Terms or applicable requirements.

6. No Guarantee of Employment

PlacementHub is a technology platform and does not guarantee:

• Employment
• Internship placement
• Interviews
• Selection
• Salary
• Job quality
• Employer response
• Candidate suitability
• Placement outcomes

Recruitment decisions are made by the relevant employer or organisation.

PlacementHub does not process candidate salary payments, placement packages, or other employment-related financial transactions between employers and candidates. Any platform fees, where applicable, relate only to software or service subscriptions and are communicated separately.

Similarly, PlacementHub does not guarantee that every job or internship listed on the platform will remain available for any particular period.

7. College and Institutional Accounts

Educational institutions may use PlacementHub to manage placement-related activities.

Institutional administrators are responsible for:

• Managing authorised users
• Maintaining accurate institutional information
• Ensuring that information uploaded to the platform is provided lawfully
• Controlling access to student and placement information
• Ensuring that users comply with applicable institutional policies

PlacementHub may rely on instructions and permissions provided by authorised institutional administrators.

8. User Content

Users may upload or submit resumes, photographs, documents, profiles, job descriptions, messages and other content (“User Content”).

You retain ownership of your User Content, subject to the rights necessary for PlacementHub to provide its services.

By submitting User Content, you grant PlacementHub a limited, non-exclusive right to host, store, process, reproduce and display that content to the extent reasonably necessary to operate and provide the platform.

You represent that you have the necessary rights and permissions to submit the content.

9. Prohibited Activities

You must not use PlacementHub to:

• Violate any applicable law
• Impersonate another person or organisation
• Create fraudulent accounts
• Provide false or misleading information
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the platform
• Interfere with platform security
• Introduce malware, viruses or other harmful code
• Scrape or systematically extract data without permission
• Reverse engineer or attempt to reproduce the platform
• Abuse or harass other users
• Upload unlawful, defamatory, obscene or infringing material
• Circumvent security or access controls
• Use the platform for fraudulent recruitment or employment schemes

We reserve the right to investigate suspected violations and take appropriate action.

10. Intellectual Property

The PlacementHub platform, including its software, design, interface, branding, logos, graphics, documentation and underlying technology, is owned by or licensed to PlacementHub unless otherwise stated.

You may use the platform only for its intended purposes.

You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, sell, license, reverse engineer or commercially exploit any part of the platform without prior written permission.

11. Third-Party Services and Links

PlacementHub may integrate with or provide links to third-party services.

Third-party services may have separate terms and privacy policies.

PlacementHub does not control and is not responsible for third-party services, their availability, content, security or business practices.

12. Platform Availability

We aim to keep PlacementHub available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

The platform may occasionally be unavailable because of:

• Maintenance
• Updates
• Technical failures
• Security incidents
• Hosting or infrastructure problems
• Internet or telecommunications failures
• Events outside our reasonable control

We may modify, suspend or discontinue features of the platform from time to time.

13. Fees and Payments

Certain PlacementHub services may be offered free of charge, while other services may be subject to fees.

Where fees apply, the applicable pricing, payment terms and subscription conditions will be communicated separately.

Unless otherwise stated, fees paid for services are subject to the applicable cancellation and refund terms communicated at the time of purchase.

14. Disclaimer

PlacementHub provides the platform on an “as available” and “as is” basis to the extent permitted by applicable law.

We do not warrant that:

• The platform will always be available
• The platform will be completely error-free
• Information submitted by users will always be accurate
• Every employer or candidate will act appropriately
• Every recruitment opportunity will be genuine or result in employment

Users should exercise reasonable judgment when interacting with other users and third parties.

15. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, PlacementHub shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising from or related to the use of the platform.

This includes, without limitation, loss of opportunities, loss of profits, loss of data, recruitment decisions, employment outcomes or interactions between users.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or limit liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.

16. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless PlacementHub and its representatives from claims, losses, liabilities, damages and expenses arising from:

• Your violation of these Terms
• Your unlawful use of the platform
• Your User Content
• Your violation of another person's rights
• Your misuse of information obtained through PlacementHub

17. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the platform where:

• These Terms are violated
• The account is involved in fraudulent or unlawful activity
• Security of the platform or other users is threatened
• Required by law
• Continued access creates material operational or legal risk

Users may stop using the platform at any time.

Certain provisions, including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability and dispute-related provisions, may continue after termination where applicable.

18. Privacy

Your use of PlacementHub is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

The Privacy Policy explains how personal information is collected, used, stored and shared.

19. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.

Updated Terms will be published on the PlacementHub website with a revised “Last Updated” date.

Your continued use of PlacementHub after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law.

20. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of India.

Subject to applicable law, courts having jurisdiction in Pune, Maharashtra, India shall have jurisdiction over disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or the use of PlacementHub.
